Artist / Band: JC Chasez Record Label: Jive Records Release Date: February 24, 2004 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Review: If Justin Timberlake is aiming to be the next-generation Michael Jackson (sans the creepy bits--so far), 'N Sync bandmate JC Chasez sounds like he's trying to fill the purple shoes of Prince. Throwing together horn-dog lyrics and pounding dance beats, the teen idol emerges with a debut that is surprisingly bright and confident. Even more surprising, it's actually pretty good. Passing over trendy hit makers like the Neptunes, Chasez instead ropes in underground stars like Basement Jaxx and Robb Boldt to get the blood pumping on retro-leaning songs like "All Day Long I Dream About Sex," "100 Ways" and "Some Girls (Dance with Women)." He even does a most convincing Sting impression on a reggae-hued "Everything You Want." Consider yourself also justified, JC. Fonte: E! Online
